Główne zainteresowania badawcze to:
– psychologiczne podłoże szerokich identyfikacji społecznych oraz ich społeczne konsekwencje,
– sposoby rozumienia etykiet związanych z szerokimi identyfikacjami społecznymi (np. podobieństwa i różnice w rozumieniu określeń identyfikacja z „całą ludzkością”, z „obywatelami świata” czy „ludźmi na całym świeci””). Aktualnie w tym obszarze prowadzone są badania międzynarodowe w ramach grantu OPUS NCN 2021/41/B/HS6/02526 (2021-2025), obejmujące współpracę z badaczami z 45 krajów;
– eksperymentalne metody aktywacji szerokich identyfikacji społecznych i tego skutki (grant OPUS NCN 2021/41/B/HS6/02526; 2021-2025);
– grupy etniczne: sposoby rozumienia i identyfikowania się w różnych krajach;
– kryteria przynależności do grup narodowych;
– teorie spiskowe;
– stosunek do symboli religijnych w przestrzeni publicznej (rola właściwości psychologicznych);
– wybaczanie międzygrupowe (predyktory, rola szerokich identyfikacji społecznych).
